“In her digitally created works, Frida Pini brings8 an intense emotional world to life. Her body of work reflects a deep connection to nature and humanity by revealing suppressed emotions in vividly colored, sometimes surreal portraits.”

A Digital Visionary with Emotional Depth: Frida Pini's Journey to Surreal Portraits Full of Light and Passion
Frida draws inspiration from powerful emotional moments, which she captures in her surreal portraits. When she experiences an intense sensation, she consciously amplifies it and expresses it through sketches and her choice of colors. Her works are usually created as digital fine art prints, which she then further enhances with neon acrylic paints, gold leaf, silver, or natural materials to intensify their impact. This combination of digital and artisanal processes lends her works a special depth and expressiveness.
Frida Pini (1981) lives and works in Karlsruhe. Her work spans surreal portraiture, emotional symbolism, and contemporary digital art. Her pieces blend digital imagery with handcrafted finishes and translate personal stories, emotions, and transformation into a unique visual language. In addition to her independent work, she creates custom portraits and engages in artistic collaborations, including with musicians. She previously lived in Berlin for ten years.
