Color and Feeling: The Journey to Inner Nature
My art reflects a deep connection - with nature, people and the emotions that drive us. In a world that is often characterized by superficiality and hectic pace, I create spaces that invite mindfulness and reflection. I truly believe that we all have the power to create a more just and empathetic society where compassion and care are at the center. This vision drives me, because humans are not the rulers of nature, but part of a larger cycle in which everything is interconnected.
The colors and shapes of my works are an expression of this deep conviction. They embody the sensitivity we need to reconnect with our inner being and nature. Each line, each brushstroke is a manifestation of the emotions that are often suppressed or overlooked - an invitation to pause and recognize the beauty of imperfection. In my work lies the power of tenderness and the expression of our strongest feelings; from gentle tenderness to powerful outbursts of the soul. My art is a living expression of my own emotions, which I incorporate into my painting process to inspire others to sharpen their sensitivity.
Together, through this sensitivity and mindfulness, we can regain the harmony and connectedness that we often lack as a society. By resolutely standing up for the most vulnerable and courageously advocating for justice, we can awaken the paradise that lies dormant within us all. In my paintings, these ideals flow into one another - a world of harmony, empathy and dynamic creativity that can enrich our lives and our togetherness.

"I dream of a world in which compassion and mindfulness are the cornerstones of human interaction."
About the Artist
Frida Pini discovered her passion for digital drawing in December 2019, when several foot operations forced her to spend months confined to bed. Unable to paint traditionally, her boyfriend gave her a tablet that allowed her to continue her artistic journey digitally. Initially, drawing with the technical pen proved unexpectedly challenging, but the process gripped her and developed into an intense passion.
In the following 1.5 years, Frida painted for up to 14 hours a day and used this enforced period of rest to delve deep into her inner being and emotions. Her art became an outlet to visualize her inner experiences and manifest them in pictures.

Frida is inspired by strong emotional moments, which she captures in her surreal portraits. When she feels an intense emotion, she consciously intensifies it and expresses it through her sketches and choice of colors. Her works are often created as digital fine art prints, which she then further processes with neon acrylic paints, gold leaf or silver to intensify their effect. This combination of digital and manual process gives her works a special depth and expressiveness. Her latest project is to cover her prints with a layer of cast resin to create a mirror-smooth, impressive surface.
Frida Pini's art is attracting increasing attention. She has already collaborated with musicians and created surreal portraits for them. Her works have caught the eye of art experts and she is striving to gain international recognition and more visibility in the media. Born in 1981, after a decade in Berlin, she lives now in Karlsruhe, where she continues to refine her art and make it accessible to a wider audience.
